Missions at Grace Community Bible Church

Grace Community Bible Church takes Christ’s mandate in Matthew 28:19-20 and in Acts 1:8 to heart:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

“.. but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

Grace Community Bible Church is a missions-minded church, committing 20% of its budget to missions. Currently, Grace Community Bible Church supports 16 missionaries representing the following organizations – Evangelical Free Church of America, Campus Crusade for Christ (now known as Cru), Interface (an International Friends ministry), Fruit that Remains (Kenya, Africa), Filter of Hope, Ministry Essentials International, and TEAM (The Evangelical Alliance Mission). It is notable that of the 16 missionary families supported, 13 had connections in our local church body before being sent out. These missionaries serve in the United States (Michigan, Colorado, Missouri, Iowa, Louisiana, Alabama, and Nebraska), Asia, Africa, and Europe.

Many of the church’s members also go out on short-term missions trips (some 2 weeks in duration and some on summer projects): some within the United States and others around the world.

In addition to these missionaries, the church supports different denominational organizations and Lifeline Pregnancy Help Clinic.
